Hello dear friends and family.
We have arrived in Africa safely and we LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! We are enjoying seeing old friends and making some new ones as well! We have seen some cool things that we would love to share with you but unfortunately we don’t have our cable to transfer photos to the computer. I guess the air lines liked our luggage so much they decided to keep it. Now we are trying to track it down between Atlanta Georgia, Dakar in the Republic of Senegal, Johannesburg South Africa and Maputo Mozambique. Challenging? Try doing that with less than adequate cell phone service! Uuummm it feels good to be back in the bush. Nothing like turning a simple task into a week long ordeal.
Well, I promise you as soon as we are able I will get some cutesy photos of the adorable kids I know you are all dieing to see.
Until then, please pray that our luggage comes soon……. For your sake of course!

My husband and I are missionaries at heart. We met on the mission field and we plan to spend a good portion of our lives doing what we love and what we feel God has called us to do. However, for the time being we have been living here in PA building a little family together. And since we plan to some day leave everything and go back to the third world I have been trying to decorate our nest with as little mulla as possible. I was never much of a do it yourself girl but out of necessity I had to learn and I have grown to LOVE it!! I have decided to blog about my successes and mishaps in home decorating.
