Thanks to all the wonderful people who have been helping us with our yard. This last month felt like a mad dash to get the yard done asap so we could enjoy it this summer and I don't think we would have even come close if it wasn't for all the helping hands we had. So a HUGE thank you to everyone involved!
Uncle Leon tilling.
One evening as Nat, Pops and Uncle Leon were putting up the rest of the fence, they suddenly found themselves caught in a storm. It started out as a worm evening as usual. I was inside changing the kids and getting them ready for bed. It sounded like a sudden rush of rain had come on the house so I glanced out the back door just in time to see a large branch fall from above onto our porch. I got up to make sure the door was unlocked (I have a habit of locking all the time) and saw these three grown men running for the house as if their lives depended on it!
This branch fell in the neighboring yard, just a few feet from Uncle Leon's truck.
Finally, last night, the sod arrived!!
We had more help than we knew what to do with!
The ladies watching the men work.
AHHH, enjoying the finished product.
After!!
I am absolutely thrilled!!!
Stay tuned to see my very first flower garden. This could be interesting coming from a girl who can hardly keep a house plant alive.
